A simple well-known word for Christmas.
Nativity means the occasion of someone’s birth. When the birth is that of Jesus Christ the word has an initial capital. Otherwise it has a lower case n. It derives from the Latin nativitas.
The word gives me the opportunity to wish everyone of whatever religion, or none, a very happy and peaceful holiday.
